A renovated and expanded property originally built in the early 1920s, the well-appointed inn will bring a modernized lodging experience to downtown Clayton’s charming Main Street. This property's central location is just steps away from adventure, including nearby state parks (Tallulah Gorge + Black Rock Mountain), trails (including many day hikes on the Appalachian Trail), and water activities (whitewater rafting on the Chattooga River or boating on nearby Lake Burton and Lake Rabun). With 45 rooms including one suite, visitors can anticipate contemporary accommodations and features such as exposed original columns and luxurious everyday comforts like Bellino Linens. Bridge Creek Inn’s warm, welcoming lobby boasts a rotating collection of work from local artists and a “history wall” of photography showcasing the past lives of the hotel.. The lobby leads to an expansive outdoor lounge area, offering a respite after a day of enjoying the nearby lakes, hiking trails, waterfalls, or quaint downtown shops.
