Richardson Dog Park

Located in South Rockdale County, the half-acre dog park features perimeter fencing, double-gate entry, separation between large and small dog areas, a drinking fountain, a dog waste station, and agility equipment. The dog park opened June 1, 2019, and will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. from April to October and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from November to March. All dogs must be vaccinated. Dogs under 4 months of age and aggressive dogs are not permitted in the park.
Park Rules:
- Park Operation Hours – (April-October 9 a.m.-8 p.m.) (November-March 9 a.m.-6 p.m.).
Always keep gates closed. - Dogs must be leashed while entering/exiting the park.
- Dogs must be removed from the park at the first sign of aggression.
- Female dogs in heat & puppies under 4 months are not allowed.
- Owners must always remain inside with leash and within voice control of their dogs.
- No more than 3 dogs per person, and dogs must be accompanied by someone over 18 years or older.
- Children and infants must be kept under strict supervision.
- Dogs must be legally licensed, have current vaccinations, and shall wear a visible license tag.
- Smoking, glass containers, and edible items are not allowed.
- Owners are responsible for any damages to the park, and or other dogs.
- Owners are responsible for cleaning up and disposing of dog waste in designated containers.
- Use park at your own risk. Rockdale County shall not be liable for any injury or damage caused by a dog at this park.
