Visit the Conyers Depot located in historic Olde Town Conyers just off Interstate 20 at Exit 80. Located in the historic train depot is the Conyers Welcome Center with a staff eager to show you just why Conyers has so much to offer.
Built in 1891, the yellow depot was once an important stop along the Georgia Railroad route from Augusta to Atlanta. General William T. Sherman marched his troops past this site on his infamous March to the Sea in 1864. Exhibit pieces are displayed and maintained in the historic train depot by the Rockdale County Historical Society.
