The Martin Theatre

Located in the heart of downtown Douglas, Georgia, The Martin Theatre is a historic 1940s theatre and community venue dedicated to preserving the past while creating meaningful experiences for future generations.

Originally opened as a movie theatre, The Martin has long served as a gathering place for entertainment, celebration, and connection in Coffee County. Today, The Martin is home to live entertainment, performing arts, community events, rentals, educational opportunities, and meaningful gatherings that support downtown revitalization and cultural connection.

The venue features seating for approximately 750 guests, three dressing rooms, theatrical lighting, sound equipment, and audio-visual capabilities. The Martin Theatre is available for performances, recitals, conferences, meetings, community events, and select private rentals.

As a nonprofit historic theatre, The Martin exists to preserve and activate this beloved landmark as a place where people gather, celebrate, learn, and belong.
