Jessie Davis Park is located approximately 1 mile north of historic downtown Douglasville, off Highway 92 North, at 7775 Malone Street, Douglasville. Park hours are 8 AM to 9 PM Monday-Sunday.
We are the home of the Alice J. Minor Hawthorne Community Center, a 15,720 square foot Community Center which was constructed in 2002 and dedicated to Mrs. Alice Hawthorne. Mrs. Hawthorne was a Douglasville native who tragically lost her life in the 1996 Olympic bombing.
The Center features two meeting rooms, a swimming pool, a warming kitchen, a gymnasium containing one regulation basketball court, two youth courts, and two regulation volleyball courts.
