Moss draped oaks and a marble mausoleum watch over Northview Cemetery's departed.

With its imposing marble mausoleum, moss-draped oaks, and storied history, Northview Cemetery in Dublin offers a rich glimpse into Dublin and the South. Figures, whether from the battlefield, medical field, politics, or simply life, are entombed in Northview Cemetery.

Established in 1902, Northview Cemetery holds the history of Dublin and Laurens County. Civil War soldiers, such as Captain B. Hardy Smith, and fighters from the Great World Wars rest here, alongside leaders and politicians.

Many families of note rest in Northview's mausoleum, including the Pages, Garretts, Phillips, Robinsons, Adams, Powels and Brantleys. The effort to build the mausoleum was led by Frank Corker and took almost two years and $30,000 to build. Crafted of marble and masonry, 200 people rest here on the hill overlooking the cemetery.
