Erected by the Cordele Consolidated Marble Company, the Williamson Mausoleum is a magnificent and impressive work of art carved from marble by an Italian sculptor from a picture sent to him in Italy. The three life-size figures are Mr. & Mrs. A. G. Williamson and his nephew, Jay Gould Williamson. The Williamson Mausoleum is in the Orphans Cemetery, which was established in 1887 by A. G. Williamson.
