Georgia is home to several cycling tour and community cycling events that will keep your family occupied throughout the year. Join these annual biking events in communities across the state that invite riders and fans out for fun.
April
Athens Twilight Criterium
Dubbed "the most insane criterium in the world," this nighttime event in Athens features teams from all over the world racing a 1K course around the downtown area at top speeds. The men's pro-am is an 80K race, and the women's pro-am measures 40K. A full schedule of family-friendly bike-centric events throughout the weekend complement the main event and encourage everyone to experience the thrill of cycling.
Roswell Moves!
The annual springtime event features a variety of events for cyclists and spectators as the racers rush through historic downtown Roswell. Part of the event is the Mayor’s Ride, which features Roswell’s mayor leading a ride to showcase the city.

The Atlanta Cycling Festival
Participate in any of the 45 events for all skill levels of riders during this festival. Rides such as the Tour de BeltLine, Doughnut Ride, Living Walls Bicycle Tour, #weloveATL Bikestameet, and the bike-in movie make this event uniquely Atlantan. Most events are free, but an RSVP via Facebook is encouraged.
June
Bicycle Ride Across Georgia
BRAG brings together people from all walks of life for a multi-day challenge to conquer the state on two wheels. Participants can choose to do one day of the event or the entire week. In addition to the annual event, BRAG hosts tune-up events throughout the year.
Georgia 400 Hospitality Hwy Century
Taking place on and around Georgia 400 Hospitality Highway in Roswell, this annual summertime event shuts down the road for amateur riders who can choose from 9, 27, 45, 62, and 101-mile courses.
Tour of North Georgia
This event features six races over five days in June and is geared toward amateur and professional cyclists. Races take place in different cities each day.

Six Gap Century Bicycle Ride & Three Gap Fifty Bike Ride
This ride in Dahlonega boasts many of the same roads and mountain climbs as the elite Tour de Georgia. The Six Gap Century’s ultra challenging route takes you up and down six of the steepest climbs in the North Georgia mountains. Test your stamina with more than 11,200 feet of vertical climbing over the 104-mile course.

Twin Rivers Challenge Cycling Event
Riders can choose from four route options from 37K to 115K, each exploring spectacular autumn scenery through Northeast Georgia. All rides begin and end at Tallulah Falls School campus.
