Massee Lane Gardens is the botanical garden headquarters of the American Camellia Society, an International Garden of Excellence, and a Georgia Camellia Trail garden. Brick walkways lead visitors through a self-guided tour of one of the world's finest camellia collections. Known as the "Winter Rose," camellias bloom from September through March. Something is always blooming at Massee Lane, no matter the season. Special events, workshops and deluxe boxed-luncheon guided tours are held each day in February to celebrate the Festival of Camellias (including extended garden hours).

Do not miss the Japanese Garden, Rose Garden, Formal Camellia Garden, Camellia Species Garden, Children's Garden, Environmental Garden, Camellia Seedling Garden, Camellia Sun Trial Garden, and Native Azalea Garden. Two museum galleries showcase Edward Marshall Boehm porcelain sculptures in botanical, wildlife, religious and military themes. Professionally guided tours of Massee Lane Gardens are available by appointment for groups of ten or more.
