Georgia Foothills Wine Trail

The foothills of Georgia are surrounded by serene lakes with views of the Southern Blue Ridge Mountains. Dotted throughout the landscape are six wineries and tasting rooms where one can enjoy the fruit of the vine, each with its own style and as different as the wines they produce. 

Each winery and tasting room have different hours, amenities and offerings, so check their website before you visit. Most have music on the weekends. Several have special events throughout the year.
