It started in 1986 when the parents of Catarina's Co-Owner, Jimmy, decided to open a restaurant, El Durango. His Mother, Catarina was passionate about the restaurant business but especially about serving and loving people. El Durango quickly became a staple in the City of Griffin serving some of the best Mexican and American food.
After several years of serving people at El Durango's Catarina passed away. In honor of her great legacy Jimmy and Co-owner Anthony have opened Catarina's Mexican Restaurant. The mission is to carry on Catarina's tradition of loving people with amazing service and food.
