Addis Acres “Welcome All Who Wander”

Shepherd’s Lodge easily accommodates 12 people, has 4 spacious bedrooms and 3 full baths while Ruth’s Cottage accommodates 6 people with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Both homes are on a 75-acre tract and overlook an 8-acre pond. Be sure to bring your fishing rods and gear, we have plenty of bass, bream, and crappie. Cook your catch in our outdoor fryer! Safety equipment and kayaks are provided. Enjoy majestic views of the water and land from the wrap-around deck with grill and fire pit. Go for morning walks around the property, or sip on a cup of coffee and read a good book on the rocking chair front porch. In the evening, fire up the grill and turn on the festive deck string lighting as you kick back with family and friends. All new furniture/appliances/furnishings/bedding/linens. Secluded, yet convenient to restaurants, shopping, entertainment. Baby care essentials provided (pack n play, high chair, booster seat). Pet friendly. WIFI and designated work space provided. Kitchen stocked with cooking essentials. 240-volt EV outlet available (please bring cord). Air purifiers on both levels.

Need a place to stay for the big race? We are 13 miles from Atlanta Motor Speedway!

In town for a wedding? We are very close to several venues: Mystic Acres, Sanctuaire Atelier, Mill Creek Venue, and Rockin' T Meadows.

We offer a quiet setting, but are close to downtown Griffin. Enjoy shopping at the world-famous Sock Shoppe as well as many unique antique stores. Take a stroll into history at the old Oak Hill Cemetery and see the grave of Doc Holiday and others who went down in history books, locally and beyond.

Like to play golf? We are less than 10 minutes from Shoal Creek Golf Course and City Park Golf Course.

Need great food that is close by? We are a short drive from the new Piedmont Brewery. Also close by is Mill Towne Gourmet, Bank Street Cafe and J. Henry's. Grab an amazing breakfast at Gritz downtown. Enjoy delicious pizza from Slices, also downtown.

I host this property along with my husband, Clate, sister-in-law, Julie, and brother-in-law, Kenny. We enjoy being with family and friends, the outdoors, and cooking. We are looking forward to seeing and hearing about the many cherished memories that folks will make here!
