Hartwell Sailboat Tour

The sailboat art project in downtown Hartwell was created by Leadership Hart, a community leadership program, to beautify the area and promote local art. The project began in 2018 and involved the creation of 12 sailboat sculptures, each designed and painted by local artists. The sailboats were placed throughout downtown Hartwell and have become a popular attraction for both locals and visitors alike. The project was funded through a combination of private donations and grants, and has been a great success in bringing the community together to celebrate art and creativity.

The Hartwell Chamber of Commerce has created a self-guided tour of the sailboats, which can be accessed through a QR code leading to an overlay on Google Maps. The tour takes visitors through the town's vibrant streets, highlighting each sailboat's unique story and significance. It's a great way to explore the town's artistic side and learn more about its rich heritage.
