If you're going to Hiawassee for the Georgia Mountain Fairground, hiking in North Georgia, visiting Young Harris College, playing pickleball, or you want to ski, kayak, paddleboard or swim look no further! We are renting a "private room" in our home, but in reality it's a room+ -- the first floor of our 2,000+-sq/ft-home lakefront home. The property covers the entire point so it feels secluded, yet oh-so-convenient as the suite is a half mile from the grocery store and town, and only 2.4 miles from the fairgrounds.
Entry is lakeside leading to a well-appointed suite with a spacious bedroom and attached private bath. The suite was renovated in 2021 with new flooring, decor and bathroom.
Enjoy sunrises and sunsets from your own patio, relaxing swing or hammock. Rental includes the use of the dock, grill, two kayaks/life vests, paddleboard, beach towels & water floats.
The large den area has an eating/game table, plus 2 leather recliner sofas and leather chair recliner, and a 55" HD TV (ATT Now, Netflix, Roku, etc.) In the winter you can enjoy your own fireplace.
In the buffet area are:
-microwave
-countertop convection oven/toaster
-coffee pot and an electric kettle
-mini refrigerator
-wine opener and cheese board
-coffee mugs, wine glasses, plates, bowls, and silverware.
It's tidied up daily so you always have clean tableware.
Outdoor is a Weber gas grill. We supply grilling utensils but you'll need to bring related supplies, such as foil, and spices other than salt and pepper. On the large patio is a fire pit, table and chairs, a hanging swing, and zero gravity lounge chairs. The area is partially covered so you can stay out of the sun - or not!

Either Mike or Peggy, the owners, will be upstairs and can offer tips on the local area, but our goal is to be as unobtrusive as you want. Both have been fully vaccinated and observe all health and cleaning guidelines.
