Sea Wolf Tybee’s weekly menus rotate with religious regularity and are full of fresh oysters, vegan creations, gourmet hot dogs and inventive cocktails. Over at The Crab Shack, try its seafood platter, which comes with crab legs, shrimp and the catch of the day.

See the blaze of colors at sunrise from Tybee Island Pier & Pavilion, then shop for memorable souvenirs from locally owned shops at Tybee Oaks. Sink your toes in the sun-warmed sand at one of Tybee’s favorite beaches — North Beach, South Beach, Back River Beach, Little Tybee Island or Mid Beach. If you want to see dolphins and other wildlife, join an excursion with Captain Derek’s Dolphin Adventure Tour for sunset cruises and fishing charters.

Built in 1732, the Tybee Island Light Station and Museum is the tallest and oldest lighthouse in Georgia. Climb the 178 stairs to the top, and then head to the museum for exhibits on the island’s unique history. Learn about local conservation efforts and see local critters, from sea turtles to sharks, at the Tybee Island Marine Science Center. Pause at Wormsloe State Historic Site in nearby Savannah for its sheltering oaks and a glimpse of Georgia life in the 1700s.
