Tybee Island Marine Science Center

The Tybee Island Marine Science Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to cultivate responsible stewardship of coastal Georgia's natural resources through education, conservation, and research. Admission is valid for the entire day and covers your self-guided tour through our exhibits. The center's exhibits feature a variety of live animals from coastal Georgia, including fish, reptiles and invertebrates. Children and adults alike enjoy our touch tank! The center also provides information on marine mammals, sharks, sea turtles, shells from around the world, and environmental issues of our region. Join us for a walk, talk or trek year-round. 

The center is open Wednesday to Sunday 9:30AM to 5PM with the last admittance at 4:15PM.
