Clam Creek Picnic Area

Clam Creek Picnic area is one of three picnicking facilities on the island. Clam Creek Road is just across from the campground on the North end of the island, and winds down through a mixed oak-saw palmetto forest. On one side is Clam creek, the other, the salt marsh giving you beautiful views along the way to the fishing pier. This is also where the horseback riding on the beach is offered by Victoria's Carriages. The bike trail leads you down Clam Creek Road then takes you through the marsh on one of the most scenic areas of the island.
