The Shamrock Reservoir is open March-October for fishing, picnicking and canoeing. The reservoir, built in the 1950s, is a picturesque lake with a reputation for bream and channel catfish. Designed as a “fishing hole for kids,” today a boat ramp, restrooms and picnic tables are available.
