The Thread Trail

Gather the family and spend some outdoor time on LaGrange’s trail system—The Thread. Winding through the beautiful neighborhoods and parks of LaGrange, The Thread is a 12-foot wide trail system designed for walking, running, and biking. Featuring boardwalks, art installations, water fountains, and rest areas, the paths provide a safe environment for fitness and recreation.

The Thread is an ongoing project with new sections being added every year and an end goal of 30 miles of family-friendly paths that bolster health and wellness in the community. The Thread is easily accessible throughout the city, dog-friendly and exclusive to non-motorized methods of transportation!
