From sweet to scary, there are things to do for Halloween in Georgia that are perfect for anyone’s scare tolerance. Afraid of your own shadow? Haunted Village at Hard Labor Creek State Park in Rutledge

Oct. 25, 2025, 1:30-9:30 p.m.: Visit the Spooky Haunted Village for a family-friendly, slight-fright event. Walk through a trail filled with scenes of your Halloween scary favorites. Event suitable to ages 6 and above. PG tours from 1:30-4:30 p.m.; PG-13 tours from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Moonlight Zip Line Tours at Historic Banning Mills in Whitesburg

2025 dates TBA: Wear a costume and soar across 900- and 1,000-foot-long zip lines as high as 200 feet above Snake Creek Gorge. Traverse eight sky bridges up to 80 feet high and experience the 1,500-foot Big Daddy high-speed zip. Conquer the 600-foot Sky Trek Suspension Bridge and the half-mile-long Screaming Eagle, all illuminated by moonlight. Must be a minimum of 10 years old and 90 pounds to participate.

Fright on the Farm: Witch’s Revenge at General Coffee State Park in Nicholls

2025 date TBA: For ages 12+, experience the full extent of a pumpkin curse from a disgruntled witch who was exiled from the land many years ago.

Haunted Forest in Statesboro

2025 dates TBA: Experience this local Halloween tradition at the Statesboro Kiwanis Fairgrounds, which raises money for the Boys & Girls Club of Bulloch County. Not intended for young children.

3 Nights of Halloween Tours with Shannon Scott in Savannah

Oct. 31 - Nov. 2, 2025, 5-8 p.m.: Tour Bonaventure Cemetery by lantern light and hear stories about secret societies, sacred geometry, root doctor rituals, and heinous crimes. See the place that inspired “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.” Attendees receive signed seasonal poster art and freshly baked Halloween goodies. Ages 18+ (parental discretion advised).
