Burke Mansion, built in 1887 by T.C. Burke known as the "Merchant Prince," is listed on The National Historic Register and is said to be one of the finest examples of Queen Anne Victorian Architecture in the country. Located in the heart of Macon's Historic Intown District, minutes from Navicent Medical Center, Mercer University and a short walk to Downtown. Available for one-of-a-kind stays and special events.
Burke Mansion sits in the heart of the historic district, and the intown neighborhood compliments the boutique bed & breakfast. Lavish public rooms and distinctive suites. Guest are invited to savor hearty breakfasts in our elegant dining room, enjoy a sweet nibble from our very own Burke Mansion Bakery in the afternoon, and sip wine from the Mansion's cellar with tasty hors d' oeuvres served during the evening reception held in the Mansion's Double Parlor after a long day of exploring this Historic City.
Our suites are individually designed. They vary from containing 11-foot windows and antique four-poster beds to clawfoot tubs. Each room is sure to captivate and entrance you and will be an experience all within itself.
We also have a separate Carriage House with three bedrooms and two bath, dining room, Viking kitchen and vaulted ceilings in the living room. All this will give you extra privacy if needed. We pride ourselves in our luxurious presence while maintaining personal touches and ensuring each guest enjoys every moment of their stay.
