Riverwalk Run Series
The Riverwalk Run Series is America’s only two-state 5K series, held annually in the twin cities of McCaysville, Georgia and Copperhill, Tennessee.
Each race follows a scenic 3.1-mile route along the Toccoa (Ocoee) River and crosses the historic steel bridge connecting the two states, offering a one-of-a-kind running experience in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
The series includes three seasonal events:
• Trout Trot (Spring)
• Walk the Line (Summer)
• Bigfoot Boogie (Fall)
Designed as evening races, each event encourages visitors to turn race day into a full mountain weekend, with access to local dining, shopping, live music, and outdoor recreation.
Participants who complete all three races earn a special challenge award, making the Riverwalk Run Series a unique way to experience North Georgia and Southeast Tennessee throughout the year.
