Heritage Park - McDonough

Heritage Park is home to the Veterans Wall of Honor, Heritage Park Veterans Museum and historic village, featuring an 1827 settler's log cabin, detached cookhouse, original two-room schoolhouse, blacksmith shop, the first library building in Henry County, 1934 steam engine locomotive, a community garden plus playgrounds, concession stand, walking/jogging track, senior center, softball fields and library. Parking, public restrooms, accessible, food. Tours are available by appointment. The park also has a covered arena that can accommodate 3,800 for concerts and events.
