Gringo Star To Release Live Album Recorded at Atlanta Club

Atlanta rock band Gringo Star are readying to release a 14-song live album recorded in their hometown.

"Controlled Burn (Live in Atlanta)" – out July 12, 2019, on Baby Robot Record – was captured last September at a show at renowned East Atlanta Village music venue The EARL. The set list runs the gamut of their career to date, pulling from their debut album (2008’s "All Y’all") up through last year’s "Back to the City."

The quintet – brothers Nick (vocalist/multi-instrumentalist) and Peter (vocalist/guitarist) Furgiuele, guitarist/backing vocalist Joshua Longino, violinist David Claassen, keyboardist/guitarist Spencer Pope and drummer Mario Colangelo – will embark on an East Coast/Midwest tour in throughout July, culminating in shows at Atlanta’s 529 on Aug. 2, 2019, and Athens’ Caledonia Lounge on Aug. 3, 2019.
