Berrien County Historical Foundation

A short drive around Berrien County and Nashville, Georgia will take you back in time. From the vast amounts of fields and woods, to the old barns and homes still scattering the countryside, Berrien County is rich in history. While many were built near the turn of the century, four buildings and one sculpture in Berrien County are on the National Register of Historic Places. The Historical Foundation is housed in the Historic Berrien County Courthouse and offers a surplus of history of Berrien County and South Georgia throughout the 1800s to current times. Tours are available and much information is on display daily.
