Athens – Tlaloc El Mexicano

"Tlaloc is technically El Salvadorian, but they offer all of the Mexican classics.  This place is the gold standard for any Mexican dish. Their tacos are top-notch (pastor and lengua are my favorites), tortas, burritos, etc.  The salsa is the best part. Most importantly, they sell these things called Papusa's which are basically El Salvadorian hot pockets filled with cheese, jalapenos, beans, and chorizo.  Definitely one of my top overall food recommendations in Athens!" - Cartter F., Athens local

Atlanta - Nuevo Laredo Cantina

"This place gets pretty packed and there's a reason why. It's authentic Mexican and tastes delicious. I've never left here disappointed. I've had enchiladas, chicken tacos, fajitas and queso to say the least." - Susie H., Yelp

Alpharetta – The Blaxican Food Truck

Where soul food meets Mexican in perfect harmony.

"There's nothing fancy about this hole-in-the-wall find tucked into an East Roswell strip mall, but look to the giant truck painted on the wall to know why. With its origins in one of the city's more recognizable food trucks, this mostly takeaway spot (there are a few stools if you want to dine right away) is the brick-and-mortar purveyor of Southern soul food and Mexican mashups – think jalapeño mac 'n' cheese or burritos bursting with collards and barbecue." - Zagat

Augusta – Taqueria El Patron

"Go here and get tacos. Seriously. Definitely a hidden goodie. Stumbled onto the place while visiting Augusta. Had chips, salsa, guacamole and tacos with friends. Everyone was very happy. Great food and service here. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Augusta." - Brian G., Yelp

Blue Ridge –  Las 2 Huastecas Mexican Store

"The best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to! Yes, it is a hole in the wall. We had a hard time finding it! In the old gas station, is the hidden gem. Hubby and I split the steak burrito and 2 steak tacos and 2 carnitas taco. So good! We also had freshly made guacamole that was the best we ever had! Prices??? We paid $16 for all the food listed above plus a Gatorade. We will definitely be back." - Carrie J., Yelp

Brunswick - La Salsa Taqueria

"A great dive, indeed! The atmosphere is laid back and the smells were wonderful. Great menu and great prices. Chips and salsa were delicious. I had Vegetarian #1, my guy had the Texana. The taste was authentic. So much flavor! The pico de gallo was on point. We had two Micheladas- those were perfect. Service was good and consistent." - Saia D., Yelp

Dahlonega - Pueblos Mexican Cuisine

"Great Mexican Food at a low price.  I eat Mexican every chance I get, this was the best service. Naphtali (Pali) is a great waiter. He checked on us constantly even though the restaurant was very busy.  I would recommend to anyone. I will definitely be back!!!" - Tripp S., Yelp

Dublin - La Joya

"This little place far exceeded my expectations for Mexican in Dublin,GA. My spicy burrito was delicious, the steak, chicken, and chorizo filing worked together magically.  If I'm ever back in Dublin, I'll be back here." S.W., Yelp

"Just finished lunch here and it was great and we were 6 people from CALIFORNIA. Great Shrimp dishes and great salads. The triple decker enchilada was incredible, also. All of us agreed this was one of the best Mexican places we have eaten at, and the prices were only $11 to $13 per entree and great help at the restaurant. Don't miss it!" - Dennis W., Yelp

Savannah - Tequila's Town

"This is my favorite restaurant in Savannah. The food is great and my favorite server of all time is Manny, he works during the day so if you have the opportunity to have him as your server do it! Also the margaritas are to die for, you definitely get your money's worth!!!!" - Chelsea R., Yelp

Valdosta - La Jalisco Supermercato

"Decided to stop here for lunch due to all my friends telling me how badly I need to go. Y'all. This place is no joke. This is the most authentic Mexican food I've had since I've lived in Valdosta. I got tacos, but of course they have a wide variety of other things. The food was fresh, and fast, and our server was super sweet and helpful. Also, get the horchata to drink!!! This is going to become my weekly spot for taco Tuesday's now. Plus it is super affordable." - Kendra S., Yelp
