Hannahatchee Creek Wildlife Management Area is located in the coastal plains of Georgia and covers 5,600 acres. This WMA offers hunting opportunities for deer, turkey, small game, feral hog and dove. The shooting range is available, and requires the Georgia Outdoor Recreation Pass or WMA Stamp. Upland habitats consist mostly of interspersed pine plantations, natural pine stands, and mixed pine/hardwood stands of varying ages. Upland habitats are bisected by numerous, small hardwood tributaries which drain into the Hannahatchee, Bussey, and Camp Creek basins. The terrain is generally hilly with numerous deep, forested gullies. Four-wheel drive is recommended for negotiating some roads, particularly in wet weather. Hunters should visit www.gohuntgeorgia.com for hunting regulations, seasons and dates.
