The Rockmart Civic Arts Commission and the Georgia Council for the Arts sponsored the historic mural to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the city. The mural was created in 1997 by 108 volunteers over a three week period. Located on Elm Street in downtown Rockmart, the mural features historic images representing recreation, education, industry, religion and commercial business.
