The Lodge is ideal for family reunions, retreats, corporate events, outdoor weddings and wedding parties. It was originally built in 1972 as a family home for Larry and Ruth Lammers and their 14 children. In 1992, the house was turned into a rental lodge, and it remains family owned.
Sautee Hereford Ranch is a 350-acre working cattle ranch located in the beautiful Northeast Georgia mountains. We offer a private and relaxed atmosphere for our guests. The farm is bordered by the Chattahoochee National Forest so there are plenty of woods and streams to explore. The Lodge offers a peaceful hideaway where guests can watch the sun rise over the mountains and enjoy a hike in the afternoons.
If you haven't visited the Sautee Nacoochee Valley, we strongly recommend escaping day-to-day life to experience its natural beauty. Aside from the farm itself, there are many activities nearby such as hiking, horseback riding, tubing down the Chattahoochee river, swimming, golfing and mountain biking. Alpine Helen is located about five minutes away from the farm and offers visitors great food, shopping and family attractions.
