It is August 1776, witness the world-altering words as they were first heard by Georgians and hear the raw, unfiltered stories of the men and women who lived through the uncertainty. would you remain loyal or join the Patriot cause? Programs at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The program will require a 1/2 mile hike to our Colonial Life Area. August heat is no joke in Coastal Georgia, so bring water, sunscreen, bug spray, and comfortable hiking shoes. A climate controlled space suit would not be a bad idea if you have one handy.
