In Dalton, sports are our passion and a huge part of our community. With more than 40 baseball/softball (16 turf) fields, several football and soccer fields (four FIFA-size turf), and numerous basketball and volleyball courts in town, we can provide your organization with top-of-the-line facilities to meet all your sporting needs. Riverbend Athletic Park

Riverbend Park is a beautiful athletic complex with four baseball/softball fields that are 325 feet in center field with a 15-foot fence. The fields feature Shaw Sports Turf with coconut shells for cooling. Riverbend Park also features a two-court gymnasium, and one official FIFA-size soccer field that seats up to 3,000.
Heritage Point Regional Park
Baseball, softball
This 300-acre park includes 10 softball fields with grass/dirt surfaces and the fences at 300-foot distance.
Edwards Park
Baseball, softball, football, disc golf, tennis, pickleball
Edwards Park is an eight-field turf baseball/softball facility with a two-court gymnasium, two American-size football fields, PDGA-approved disc golf course, and fully lit tennis and pickleball courts.
Dalton Soccer Stadium
Soccer
Dalton Stadium’s full-size turf FIFA soccer fields seat up to 5,000, with locker rooms, concessions and a press box.
Westside Park
Baseball, softball, disc golf
Westside Park is a four-field Shaw Sports Turf facility for youth baseball and softball. Batting cages are on-site. The park also has a PDGA-approved disc golf course and a Miracle League field for special needs athletes.
Dalton Convention Center

Conveniently positioned on I-75 between Chattanooga and Atlanta on the edge of the Chattahoochee National Forest, the Dalton Convention Center is the largest facility in the region. The 147,000-square-foot convention center has 40,500 unobstructed feet of column-free floor space to accommodate a variety of sporting events. In-house food and beverage services are available.

Known as the Carpet Capital of the World, and now better known as the Floorcovering Capital of the World, Dalton is home to more than 100 years of textile heritage. Take the self-guided Textile Legacy Tour to learn about notable locations in the town’s textile history. Visit Haig Mill Lake Park to go fishing, kayaking and hiking, and grab a bite while you catch your favorite sports team on the TVs at Jefferson’s Sports Bar, a family-filled restaurant and entertainment center complete with a basement arcade. Stop by Burr Performing Arts Park downtown for free summer music concerts and other outdoor events.
