Day 1 - Atlanta

Tour Gibbs Gardens, Ball Ground
This sprawling slice of heaven in Ball Ground has actually represented the place - in the film Miracles from Heaven, staring Jennifer Garner. Visionary landscape architect Jim Gibbs toured lush sites around the world for 15 years before transforming this stunning property into a tourist favorite. Twenty-four ponds, 32 bridge crossings, 19 waterfalls, and thousands of native trees and colorful flowers make visitors feel as if they've stepped into a celestial realm. Groups of all sizes are welcome. 

Lunch & Tour Atlanta History Center, Atlanta
The Hunger Games fans will want to tour President Snow's palace, set at the stunning Swan House, a 1928 classical mansion on the Buckhead campus of the Atlanta History Center. Walk the winding staircase where Donald Sutherland and Philip Seymour Hoffman plotted nefarious schemes, stroll on the great lawn and take in the expansive gardens, all featured in the blockbuster films. See original props and snap selfies where Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson and Elizabeth Banks filmed scenes. Groups of 10 to 20 guests are welcome, and tours include full access to the Atlanta History Center.

For over 70 years, Mary Mac's has been setting the standard for Southern cooking in Atlanta. The restaurant's location in Midtown Atlanta attracts a vast and varied crowd. Day 2
This town doubles as Madison, Delaware, in Jack Black’s Goosebumps movie. Long before this film-connection, however, comedic actor Oliver Hardy's father ran a beautiful hotel on the square in downtown Madison. Custom group itineraries are the name of the game in Madison, and the quaint city's historic district is chock-full of some of the finest examples of antebellum architectural styles in the state. Arrange for a tour including the 1811 Greek Revival-style Heritage Hall, also featured in Goosebumps; the 1809 Piedmont Plan-style Rogers House; and Rose Cottage, built in 1891 by Adeline Rose, who was born to enslaved parents and built this house for $100. Docent-led tours may include a break to enjoy Madison's boutiques and restaurants. 
 
A music legend, "The Godfather of Soul" James Brown, grew up in Augusta. Capture a group-picture moment next to the life-size, bronze James Brown statue downtown. Then visit the Augusta Museum of History, where an exhibition features rare Brown memorabilia and personal items, such as a King of Soul crown he wore in the 1950s and audio-visual stations featuring concert performance footage and studio recordings. Groups of 10 or more may schedule a self-guided or docent-led tour. 
 
If your crew's idea of fun leans toward water adventures, consider a guided excursion via boat. Groups can charter a private, 40-passenger boat with Augusta Canal Petersburg Boat Tours to cruise the historic Augusta Canal. During the voyage, visitors will spy a Civil War gunpowder factory as well as wildlife (herons, otters and alligators all live here). Tour offered include a history tour, sunset tours and music cruises.

Day 3
Walking Music Tour with Classic City Tours, Athens
The Classic City has a reputation as the state's live music mecca, and Paul Butchart (whose band, The Side Effects, was a B-52s opener in the 1980s) introduces visitors to its colorful past, which has given rise to bands such as Widespread Panic and R.E.M. On his two-hour walking and bus tour, which is offered by appointment, he shares insider music intel and first-hand insights during visits to Wuxtry Records, the R.E.M. Trestle, Nuçi's Space, and current and former music venues.
 
Lunch at the Last Resort Grill, Athens 
Known as the “last resort” for bands looking to play in Athens, the former nightlife spot became a restaurant in the '90s. Opened as a music club in 1966, Last Resort hosted countless popular performers such as the Reverend Pearly Brown, Towns Vand Zandt, Doc Watson, Jimmy Buffett and Steve Martin. Today, the restaurant serves Southwestern-inspired Southern cuisine made with locally-sourced ingredients. 
 
Tour Georgia Museum of Art, Athens
The Georgia Museum of Art (GMOA) has long offered its audiences a world-class art experience. As both an academic museum and the state's official art museum, it serves not only the University of Georgia, but also the owners of its permanent collection, the residents of Georgia and the state's visitors, through award-winning exhibitions, publications and programming. The GMOA houses a permanent collection of more than 9,000 works of art, as well as a variety of traveling exhibitions and a new sculpture garden. Gallery tour groups are welcomed, and educational tour groups on a variety of topics are available upon request.
 
Dinner at The National, Athens
Known from Bravo’s Top Chef, Hugh Acheson serves up a variety of culinary delights. The idea behind The National is simple: to provide a casual neighborhood gathering spot reminiscent of the bars and cafés of Europe. Mediterranean-inspired food and wine is served for lunch and dinner in the dining room and throughout the day at the bar. While the menu points to culinary traditions from abroad, The National values local farmers and dishes reflect the changing seasons in northeast Georgia.
 
Music & Overnight at The Foundry, Athens
The Foundry live music venue is a blend of old and new: vintage modern decor in the oldest building on the Graduate Athens property. A 30-foot smoke stack anchors the venue's entry tower while three glass and metal garage doors blend the exterior patio with the interior space for al fresco dining and listening in pleasant weather. Guests can savor, sip and socialize in style with a mix of locals and travelers alike an atmosphere like no other. This intimate music venue hosts a variety of music styles and is a favorite of a wide range of fans.
