We've been making a difference in South Georgia and North Florida for over three decades. At The Bookshelf, we believe in the power of books to shape communities and foster conversations. Our staff has curated a quality collection of literature across genres, and each month, we host over a dozen storytimes, author events, educational workshops, and more. We love literature and paper and interesting conversations, and we believe a life enriched by books is the very best kind of life.

Our shop in beautiful downtown Thomasville, Georgia, is open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, with extended hours for special events and occasional weekends.
