Historic Depot Row is where history comes to life! Take a free tour of the campus and learn about the four historic buildings. The first building is the National Historic Site, the E.L Greenway Welcome Center Train Depot. Built-in 1944 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Inside you will find the Georgia Artisan Center. This unique "Georgia Made, Georgia Grown" gift shop is where you will want to be shopping for your souvenirs and other keepsakes.
Next up is the red Southern Railroad caboose X556. Inside you will find what life was like riding the caboose and working for the railroads! Maybe you will get lucky and see a train pass you by. Up next is Mildred's Country Store, which is full of local antiques from a barber chair to a retro baby stroller and a plethora of agricultural tools. Come in and see what it was like shopping in rural Middle Georgia in the 1900s. Last but not least is the Elberta Depot Heritage Center and the World War II Museum. The Elberta Depot is transformed into a small museum with exhibits about the "Rails to Warner Robins", "Wellston to Warner Robins" and "Robins Air Force Base". Come in a learn about our rich history and check out the newest edition to the model railroad. The model railroad takes you back in time to the layout of Warner Robins in the 1930s and 1940s.
