The Railway Express Building (REA) is part of the Historic Rail Depot located in Downtown Waycross. The buildings were built in the early 1900s prior to WW1. They were built to replace the previous wooden passenger depot, which was destroyed by a fire in a train derailment. This was an active depot until passenger service was discontinued in 1971. REA Building was restored in 2001 as a 400-seat banquet and reception hall.
