Highgate Estate & Gardens is a bed & breakfast and a wedding, event and concert venue with two acres of gardens, an historic house dating from 1810, a pavilion that has seating for up to 150 guests, a full-service bar, an elevated spacious dance floor with incredible lighting, a complete sound system and a separate lounge area.
Bed and Breakfast: We have six spacious bedrooms; five in the Manor House, one in the Groom's Cottage. Queen size beds are in each room. Three Manor House bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms (Greensboro, Athens and Augusta rooms); two Manor House bedrooms share a bathroom in the hallway (Savannah and Atlanta). The Groom's Cottage has a bathroom on the first floor; the bedroom is on the second floor. A full breakfast is served. We are just a short walk to antique stores, restaurants and our local craft beer brewery, Oconee Brewing Company. See our website to make reservations. www.highgateestate.com. Weddings: We have three outdoor wedding ceremony sites: Chapel Gardens, West Lawn and the Magnolia Terrace, and an indoor chapel for inclement weather. Receptions are held in our pavilion.
Elopements: Highgate is available for elopement ceremonies.
Photography site: Highgate is available to photographers for engagement photos, family photos, graduation photos, etc.
Events: Highgate offers a unique and elegant setting for corporate functions, family reunions, birthday parties, etc. Call us for details.
