North Mount Carmel Park
Soccer
Henry County is home to one of the top soccer complexes in the state, with 14 grass soccer fields. It has hosted many youth and adult soccer tournaments and is the home of the Georgia Revolution FC, a National Premier Soccer League team.
J.P. Moseley Park & Recreation Center
Baseball, softball, disc golf, football, pickleball
J.P. Moseley Park & Recreation Center is a multidimensional sports facility. It is one of Henry County’s baseball/softball tournament parks, with four lighted baseball fields and a concession stand, as well as four lighted football fields. The facility also has six pickleball courts and a 27-hole disc golf course that was rated a top 10 course in Georgia by Disc Golf Scene.
Red Hawk Baseball Complex

This is one of the county’s newest baseball complexes and a dedicated tournament park. It has four lighted baseball fields with batting cages and a concession stand. A unique feature of this complex is the old-fashioned scoreboard at the main field that previously belonged to the Minor League Columbus Mudcats.
Heritage Park

Heritage Park, also a dedicated tournament park, offers four lighted baseball/softball fields plus batting cages and concession stands. The park also features a large playground, the Heritage Park Veterans Museum and Wall of Honor, a historic village, three picnic pavilions, and a covered arena that can accommodate 3,800 people.
Fairview Recreation Center
Pickleball
The Fairview Recreation Center has two gyms with six pickleball courts.
Sandy Ridge Park
BMX
The Sandy Ridge BMX track is a premier racing facility sanctioned by the USA BMX Association. It features a 50-foot starting hill with three paved, high-banked turns connected by 800 feet of jumps, whoops, rollers, and step-ups. The track hosts 40 sanctioned races per year.
Warren Holder Park

This park is a youth association park with four football fields and nine lighted baseball/softball fields. It has batting cages and three concession stands.
Avalon Park
Football, roller hockey
Avalon Park features three football fields, a practice football field, and a roller hockey rink, as well as two playgrounds and a concession stand.
Village Park at North Henry
Football, soccer
Opened in spring 2017, Village Park has two multipurpose sports fields, a concession stand, a playground, an event lawn, a community building, and a splash pad.
Richard Craig Park
Sunshine baseball, tennis
This Sunshine League complex includes a custom-designed field with a cushioned, rubberized surface to help prevent injuries; wheelchair-accessible shaded dugouts; and a completely flat surface to eliminate any barriers to wheelchair-bound or visually impaired players. Wheelchair-accessible restrooms, parking, a concession stand, a playground, and a picnic pavilion are included in the complex. The facility also has 16 tennis courts and hosts one of the largest wheelchair tennis tournaments in the United States each year.

Henry County is home to amazing under-the-radar attractions. Visit the more than 1,500 animals that live at Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary or learn more about military helicopters at the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation. Take a few laps around the track at Atlanta Motor Speedway or pick fresh fruit from Southern Belle Farm. Find high fashion at a bargain price at Tanger Outlets or let the kids release some energy at Sky Zone or Starlite Skating Center. There are also several public golf courses, as well as a nine-hole, par-3 course that also offers a driving range, batting cages, and footgolf.
How To Get There
Henry County is located roughly midway between Atlanta and Macon on Interstate 75, 20 miles south of Atlanta and 15 miles from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. There are seven Henry County exits off Interstate 75 (exits 212 to 228) and one exit off of Interstate 675 (exit 1), making Henry County’s various facilities very accessible.
