Places to Stay
The Twelve Oaks Bed and Breakfast, Covington

The beautiful 12,000-square-foot antebellum home located in Covington is perfect for a romantic getaway. The award-winning inn offers elegant, themed-suites with a Southern breakfast in the morning and a Southern Sippin’ and Nibblin’ Hour in the evening.
Bella Bed and Breakfast at Boutier Vineyards, Danielsville
Bella Bed and Breakfast at Boutier Vineyards is a wonderful romantic retreat. All four suites, named after different types of wine, offer a spa style – private bath and concierge services. Wine tastings are offered each weekend at Boutier Winery, which is located in the backyard of the B&B. The vineyard was also one of the backdrops for reality show "Married at First Sight."
1842 Inn, Macon
The 1842 Inn was built in 1842 in the Greek Revival architecture but has seen some structural antebellum changes since then. The inn now consists of 19 guest rooms, hospitality parlors, service facilities, as well as a courtyard and porches for entertaining. The interior is decorated with fine English antiques and paintings, oriental carpets, tapestries and elaborate draperies. Oprah Winfrey was one of the inn’s most notable guests. When in town staying at the 1842 Inn, be sure to dine at Natalia’s (detailed below).
Georgian Terrace, Atlanta
Opened in 1911, the Georgian Terrace is an iconic hotel in Midtown Atlanta with floor-to-ceiling windows, crystal chandeliers and white marble columns. The hotel hosted the premiere gala of "Gone With the Wind" in 1939 and has since been host to cast and crew for many of the major motion pictures filmed in Atlanta. During your stay, plan to attend an event at the Fox Theatre, which is located directly across the street from the hotel. The hotel also offers a romance package as an option for guests. Be sure to visit Livingston Restaurant & Bar located inside the hotel.
