Five Great Places to Shop with Kids in Atlanta
The whole family will love shopping at these cool spots in and near Atlanta!

1. Atlantic Station in Atlanta
The kids will be the envy of their friends after a shopping trip to Atlantic Station with clothes from Dillards, Target, H&M, or Old Navy, and fresh bedroom decor from IKEA. Take the kids to California Pizza Kitchen or HOBNOB for lunch, catch a movie at Regal Cinemas, and check the events calendar for special activities ranging from free movies in the park to storytelling and games.

2. Avalon in Alpharetta
Avalon sits on 86 acres in Alpharetta and includes shopping, dining, and so much more. Visit The Container Store for your home organizing needs, or find new clothes for the kiddos at Gap, Janie and Jack, or Vineyard Vines. Trim the kids’ locks at Van Michael Salon, and fuel up on after-school snacks and lunchbox goodies at Whole Foods Market. While you’re visiting, kids will love the healthy lunch choices at Gusto, or stop in for Atlanta’s best-loved pizza at Antico. Need to bribe the little ones into a shopping trip? Visit the children’s play area or the movie theater, or try the FREE Little Acorns program on Tuesdays (twice a month April to October).

3. The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta
Head north to Woodstock to visit Georgia’s newest outlet mall, The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta. No car? No problem! Try the complimentary group shopping shuttle, which picks up from hotels in Atlanta. For your kids’ shopping needs, there is Georgia-based Carter’s, The Children’s Place, Polo, Nike, and Levi’s. After shopping, feast on Taqueria Tsunami, hit the play and climbing area, and then grab a snack at Great American Cookie.

4. Ponce City Market in Atlanta
Tweens and teens will adore shopping at Ponce City Market, a revitalized mixed-use shopping area. Stock up on clothes at Anthropologie or J.Crew. You’ll find the perfect lamp for homework at Rejuvenation and a matching desk at West Elm, as well as all the personal care products you need at Sephora. Treat the kids with something from Five Daughters Bakery, King of Pops, or Honeysuckle Gelato. For lunch, try a sandwich at El Super Pan or a burger from H&F. The best surprise you could offer the kids is a visit to the rooftop of PCM – Skyline Park, with old-school midway-type games, scenic overlooks, and more!

5. Mall of Georgia in Buford
It’s part traditional mall, part old-fashioned town square, and great for families. Clothing stores at the Mall of Georgia in Buford include Aeropostale, American Eagle, Macy's, and Belk. There’s also a Kids Foot Locker, Barnes & Noble, Pottery Barn, and an Apple store. The kids will want to make a creation at Build-A-Bear and explore the indoor play park at Billy Beez. Come back at dusk for Movies Under the Stars (once a month May through October), and enjoy dinner at P.F. Chang’s, Red Robin, or Buffalo Wild Wings.
